HERO, a total peace of mind. With HERO your money is 100% safe
HERO is constantly working to make things better, safer and worry free for classic car enthusiasts. We have introduced an Escrow account which is held by our Solicitors Goodman Derrick LLP. All deposits and entry fees received in advance and in accordance with the above will be held in this account until the entry closing date.
Should the event not run due to insufficient entries or an unforeseen event occur, your money will be 100% safe and will be returned to you in full subject to the terms of the event ASR's and Escrow Account Letter Agreement. Should YOU choose to cancel your entry then the Cancellation Terms & Conditions as detailed on the individual ASR for each event would apply
HERO sliding pricing structure.
As recently reported in the press, HERO has not increased its entry fees for events for three years running (if they have increased then it is only by a small amount) and very much intends this for all future events.
During this time the economic climate has changed and businesses are now operating in a very different environment. This new environment is increasingly risk averse and has dictated changes across many industries, especially hospitality to which HERO is greatly exposed to. This new environment requires a great deal of advance planning. Planning ahead requires estimating the number of participants on an event. Attempting this, whilst at the same time keeping entry fees low is only possible with the advance payment of cash deposits for hotel bookings, event venues, and tests.
HERO has chosen to advance these sums so that participants’ deposits don’t have to be used for pre-booking purposes and can be safely placed in Escrow. Insufficient participants can jeopardise any event but if we get a rush of late entries we (the organisers) end up paying a premium for additional rooms and/or have to use additional hotels. We believe that offering a sliding pricing structure offers fairness to participants and organisers equally, greater security to participants and another way to keep this ever growing industry up to speed with the sentiment of its participants.
Competitors can book early and benefit from (yet again) no price increase in our entry fees – join as a HERO Premier Member and the fees are even cheaper!
